In recent years, the environment surrounding venture companies is facing a downturn. Newly listed venture companies are on the decline. Aggregate market value of the emerging market has reduced to about a half of what it was at the end of last year, and major venture capitals have suffered a serious profit decline. New investments for venture capitals are being suppressed, and it seems that the ice age for the venture capitals is here to stay for a while. In these recent situations, it is not easy for a venture capital to obtain funding. As if adding insult to injury, the interest the society and the media were showing in these start-up companies is now fading away. This challenging situation for the venture capitals is all the more reason for us to find a new seed for a new business, and to create a service that can enliven the future internet industry.

How can we make the best of what we have accomplished and learned in the last decade, since we started off as pioneers in the late 1990’s in this internet business industry? Our answer is to assist newborn venture companies not just financially, but also by relaying what we have learned throughout our own growth as a corporation.
